Prof. Franck Amadieu

Franck Amadieu is a Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès and director of the CLLE laboratory (UMR5263). His work focuses primarily on learning with digital tools and examines cognitive processing, particularly in the processing of digital documents (hypertext, multimedia, and animations) for information retrieval, comprehension, and learning tasks, as well as the acceptability of technologies by students and teachers. For several years, his research has focused on issues related to critical thinking education among young people (from middle school to university) when faced with video information sources. The objectives of his research are, on one hand, to understand inter-individual differences in the evaluation of information and information sources, and on the other hand, to examine the effects of training students on digital platforms for the critical evaluation of conflicting videos found on social media. Franck Amadieu has supervised 14 completed PhD dissertations and currently supervises about ten PhD students. He has coordinated 4 scientific projects, two of which were specifically dedicated to education in critical video analysis. He has published 37 peer-reviewed articles.

Prof. Antonio Cedillo-Hernández
Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico
Antonio Cedillo-Hernández received his Ph.D. in Communications and Electronics with honors from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico. He is currently a Professor and Researcher at Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Level I National Researcher in Mexico's National System of Researchers (SNII-SECIHTI). He has over twelve years of academic and research experience, including a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and has contributed to more than 50 research works, including international journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and scientific outreach publications.
Throughout his academic career, he has received several teaching distinctions, including recognition as a top-rated professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Best Professor of the Graduating Class, membership in Tecnológico de Monterrey's Distinguished Professors Circle, and the Inspiring Professor recognition.
His professional background also includes experience in information security, technology project management, and public-sector information systems. He has participated as Lead Auditor in security audits of electoral information systems and as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for Mexico's Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP). His professional credentials include PMP®, Scrum, ITIL® Foundation, and CompTIA Security+ certifications.

Research Fellow Anna Gorbunova
HSE University, Russia
Dr Anna Gorbunova is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Education, HSE University. She holds a PhD in Education. Her research focuses on cognitive load theory, learner control, self-regulated learning, and instructional design in digital learning environments. She currently leads a research project on learner control and its role in supporting agency and autonomy in digital education. Dr Gorbunova is a member of the International Cognitive Load Theory Association (ICLTA) and the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI). Her recent publications address learner control, cognitive load, and engagement in online learning.
