The 16th International Conference on Education Technology and Computers (ICETC 2024) was successfully held at the University of Porto, Porto, Portugal, from September 18 to 21, 2024. This year’s conference saw vibrant participation, with nearly 90 attendees joining onsite and an additional 60 participants engaging online, reflecting the hybrid nature of the event.

ICETC 2024 attracted a global audience, including researchers, educators, and practitioners from various sectors of education technology and computer science. The conference provided an invaluable platform for the exchange of ideas, research insights, and best practices in the evolving field of education technology.

The conferences offered a blend of in-person and virtual participation, allowing for greater accessibility and flexibility for attendees worldwide. This format enabled meaningful engagement through interactive sessions and live Q&A sessions for both onsite and online participants.
