The topic of this session is Education for Sustainability in the Age of AI:
Challenges, Opportunities, and Impactful Practices. The subtopics for this
session are: 1. Artificial intelligence and education for sustainability: AI
tools for personalized sustainability learning, AI ethics in education, and the
use of data analytics to measure progress in sustainability. 2. Curriculum
innovation and learning experiences in local communities:
sustainability-oriented service-learning projects, partnerships with local
stakeholders (governments, NGOs, businesses), and community impact assessment.
3. Assessment and accreditation of sustainability competencies: competency
frameworks for sustainability, and short- and long-term impact assessments. 4.
Pedagogical transformation for sustainability: problem-based learning (PBL)
focused on environmental challenges, universal design for learning in
sustainable education, and assessment of educational impacts in communities. 5.
Interdisciplinary pedagogies for global challenges: sustainability-focused STEAM
education, transdisciplinary approaches, and community-based action research
projects.
