Welcome to ICETC 2026

We are pleased to invite you to attend 2026 the 18th International Conference on Education Technology and Computers (ICETC), which will be held in Porto, Portugal during December 14-17, 2026. It is co-sponsored by University of Porto, Portugal and IEEE, welcome to ICETC 2026!

The ICETC 2026 Organizing Committee is committed to enriching the conference schedule and providing a more effective communication platform while maintaining the success of ICETC in the past seventeen editions. The conference is organized along session themes, addressed in plenary oral presentations by keynote speakers and invited speakers, and extensive oral presentation and poster sessions by authors. In addition, we will also have various social events, including the campus visit, dinner banquet and one day tour, to make the meeting a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Conference Proceedings

Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by program committees and technical committee, and accepted papers will be published into conference proceedings by IEEE after registration and presentation. The proceedings will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore and indexed by Ei Compendex & Scopus.

Springer - Lecture Notes in Educational Technology

Track 9: Instructional Design And Teaching Strategies
Track 10: Assessment and Evaluation in Education

Selected papers from Track 9 and Track 10 will be published into Lecture Notes in Educational Technology (Electronic ISSN: 2196-4971 & Print ISSN: 2196-4963) as a proceedings book volume, which has been accepted by Springer. Final publication will be contingent upon Springer’s review of the manuscript. Those papers will be sent to indexing database like: Scopus, ACM Digital Library, ERIC, INSPEC, Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals and Series, SCImago.

Journal Recommendation

Selected papers may be invited to submit extended version to indexed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (ISSN: 1939-1382). Please refer to the journal' s guidelines on submitting extended conference papers.

Abstracting/ Indexing: SCIE, SSCI, Ei Compendex, Scopus, etc.
Impact Factor: 3.7 | CiteScore: 8.5
